Vespa PX125 engine built in 2017: brand new and ready to install
Description:
This brand new engine comes from the Vespa PX125 series, built in 2017.
It is a completely original Piaggio engine from the last production series,
which was relaunched in 2011. The engine has a modern ignition and is
intended for an exhaust with a catalytic converter.
Both components can easily be replaced with parts from older models if necessary.
The short engine corresponds to the models before 2011.
Compatibility: The engine can also be installed in older vehicles, such as a Vespa Sprint.
The existing oil pump for automatic two-stroke oil mixing can be shut down so that the vehicle can be
driven with a conventional mixing ratio of 1:50.
Quality testing: All engines were tested on Piaggio factory test benches. A test report is included.
Adjustments: If the engine is operated without a catalytic converter, we recommend slightly adjusting the jetting.

Notes:
Gear oil: The engine is delivered without operating fluids (petrol/oil). Gear oil (250 ml) must be filled in before commissioning.
Mixture oil (2-stroke oil): If the engine is to be operated with the factory-installed oil pump for automatic 2-stroke oil mixing, use a 1:50 oil/petrol mixture for the first tank filling. This ensures that the oil pump is vented and the engine is lubricated. If the oil pump is not in use, it can be shut down and the engine will operate permanently with a mixture ratio of 1:50 (oil/petrol).| New/Used: | new |
